Umoja House's 30th Celebration Art Gallery

The portrait project is a celebration of the student activism that led to the creation of the UMOJA house, and to the people who have lived in it over the years. The portraits will be used to create a gallery wall with as many students and alums as we could photograph (in the time frame and locations that we could) that would feel like the family photos you might see at your grandmother's or your parent's house. It seemed like a homey way to celebrate the U house. After all, it is the people who make a house a home.
